It is our mission to instil a love of Scottish highland dance through a fun weekly class atmosphere!

​Whether you are wanting to perform, take part in competitions, or complete medal tests, there is a class for you!

Kids in Kilts School of Highland Dance offers a positive and challenging class atmosphere. We believe in having fun while working hard. Kids in Kilts understands and respects that all students progress at their own rate. We ensure that each student meets their full potential. No matter what age or level, each dancer gets a chance to be in the spotlight.

Online Registration for 2024-2025 is now open! 
​Our in-person registration night is Thurs, Sept 5th 6:00-8:30 at Glenwood Community Centre.

Highland Dance in the Heart of Canada!

Kids in Kilts offers highland dance classes in Winnipeg for ages 3 and up, focussing on the technical and artistic aspects of highland dance.

​Students have opportunities to dance in competitions, take medal tests, perform in the Kids in Kilts recital, participate in community performances, travel for dance and more!

Kids in Kilts is located on Treaty One Territory in Winnipeg MB, right in Old St. Vital at Glenwood Community Center!
